Jeruzalė Recreational Area Project
Located in the Jeruzalė district of Vilnius, near the Santariškės intersection, this project
transformed a previously underutilized natural area into a contemporary recreational and
public space.
The design approach focused on achieving a sustainable balance between urban usability and the preservation of the natural landscape. The existing topography and site characteristics were carefully maintained, ensuring a seamless integration into the surrounding environment.
The I-NET® Frame system was applied as a lightweight and modular structural solution. Combined with timber and steel elements, it enabled a high level of transparency while adapting flexibly to the natural terrain, minimizing visual impact and construction intervention.
With approximately 3.5 km of walking trails, as well as pond and woodland areas, the project creates a modern public environment that offers visitors an immersive experience in nature.
