Garanti BBVA Pendik Technology Campus
Garanti technology campus was built in the area of an old chemical factory, on the road which connects the E-5 and TEM highways in Pendik district, Istanbul.
The office building rises on the artificial hills where the auditorium, cafeterias, halls, and data centers are located. The campus includes three main parts: 53.500m² of open office, 16.000 m² of the auditorium, and the rest 72.500 m² comprise parking area, cafeterias, common areas, archives, and service areas.
Keeping the feeling of the natural landscape in the building is one of the main goals set at the beginning of the design process. Therefore, a high-quality stainless steel I-NET® cable mesh was used in the design of the fire escape, a net that stands out with its its transparency, flexibility, durability features, and ability to integrate with nature.
