Ain Dubai is a giant Ferris Wheel that stands at a height of 210 m making it the highest of its kind in the world. This world’s tallest and largest observation wheel is located on Bluewaters Island which is bordered by shopping malls, restaurants, residences, and a souk.
INOX-NET performed as the subcontractor for the design, supply, and installation by completing 400m² of safety net works which consist of steel struts and pylons, stainless steel I-ROPE® tension systems, and I-NET® cable mesh.
INOX-NET has carried out all planning and design, static calculations, manufacturing, and installation work according to unique and challenging project requirements.
Since the steel struts of the safety net system were connected to a free-form skylight, each strut is planned and manufactured in different designs, dimensions, and angles.
Spiral I-ROPE® tension systems, which are the primary structure of the safety net, have been offered with a 1x19 Ø8 mm dimension and AISI 316 quality as a result of static calculations.
I-NET® cable mesh with Ø3 mm rope diameter and 100x173 mm net width is used as the safety net.
